Responsibilities
- Leading and influencing across teams to develop analytics and reporting initiatives
- Understanding business processes across E&T industries to identify opportunities for efficiency and enhanced reporting
- Translating accounting and business issues for the improvement and/or creation of new analytical tools
- Developing networks within the technical community across the enterprise to enable collaboration on technical solutions, obtain resources and cooperation needed, and remove roadblocks to ensure the success of the team
- Researching and applying new methods and digital technologies to exceed customer expectations
- Developing and supporting automated data flows for E&T Business Resources
- Contributing to global data strategy efforts
- Mentoring others in data analysis and visualization practices
What You Have:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Mathematics, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Delivers highly precise work, balances speed and accuracy, and applies quality assurance best practices.
- Effective Communications: Communicates clearly across all levels, adapts messaging to the audience, and provides constructive feedback.
- Business Data Analysis: Leads data analysis efforts, defines reusable models, and promotes efficient communication of data requirements.
- Business Assessment: Evaluates opportunities, defines success factors, and leads risk/benefit assessments for applications.
- Requirements Analysis: Captures and documents functional and non-functional requirements using advanced tools and techniques.
- Technical Writing/Documentation: Produces and manages process documentation for analytics initiatives across industry teams.
- Product Design and Development: Drives analytics initiatives from concept to execution, establishing standards, streamlining development processes, and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver impactful insights.
- Research Analysis: Evaluates research findings, advises on methodologies, and ensures quality and relevance of analysis.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
- Proficiency in Snowflake, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- Programming experience (e.g., C#, Java, Python, R)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, GLS, MAMM)
- Experience with Microsoft Applications, Axiom, Alteryx, and other analytical tools
- Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or other related fields
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities
- Intellectual curiosity and a proactive mindset
- Knowledge of data quality, security, and engineering principles
- Problem-solving expertise and a focus on process improvement
