Find your calling at Mercy!The Lead Business Intelligence Analyst answers critical business questions by using standard analytics tools to surface insights and develop data visualizations. Key areas of focus will be on utilizing standardized approaches to analysis to understand consumer insights, clinical effectiveness, and business value using organizationally aligned definitions. This position requires a continuous attention of time-to-value for analytics as well as data quality, best practices for measurement and visualization, and data security. Analysts will participate and make significant contributions to enterprise data stewardship across all data domains. Specifically, this role will have responsibility for using and supporting approved communication channels (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Power BI) to promote data literacy and communication among data customers.
This position supports Mercys efforts to deliver on the vision of personalized, predictive, and proactive care. The candidate should demonstrate expertise with data extraction, analysis with data analytics tools, and deliver outputs on a timeline. The candidate should be able to effectively document, develop, and communicate analytic findings with a variety of technical/non-technical stakeholders. The analyst will perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the mission and values of Mercy.Position Details:Qualifications:

Education Requirements
- 8+ year of experience and one of the following
- Business Analysts: Four-year degree or equivalent work experience
- Clinical Analysts: RN, MD, Health Information Management, or Information Science
Experience Requirements
- Experience with financial, clinical or web-based systems computing
- Experience in supporting and distributing interactive data visualizations
- Skill building data visualizations using advance visualization tools
- Preferred experience in Epic, Cerner, or other EMR
- Preferred DAX coding experience
- Preferred SQL writing experience
- Preferred experience scripting experience with R and Python
- Preferred familiarity with cloud computing
- Preferred skill building data visualizations using advance visualization tools
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written)
