Explore our open roles below and see how you can help us shape the future of funded trading.

Position Summary
The KYC/AML Specialist owns the day-to-day identity verification, customer due diligence, and transaction monitoring that keep our onboarding and funding operations compliant. You'll clear and escalate alerts, run enhanced due diligence on higher-risk accounts, file suspicious activity reports, and keep the documentation clean enough to stand up to regulators and outside counsel. This is a hands-on compliance seat with real ownership of the function, working closely with our payments and operations teams and reporting directly to compliance leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Own the day-to-day KYC/CDD process: identity verification, document review, and account onboarding checks for new and existing users.
Run enhanced due diligence (EDD) on higher-risk accounts and escalate what needs a closer look.
Monitor activity for red flags, investigate alerts, and document your findings clearly enough that they hold up under review.
Draft and file suspicious activity reports and internal escalations, and keep clean records of every decision.
Screen against sanctions, PEP, and watchlists (OFAC and the rest), and clear or escalate hits.
Work alongside our payments and operations teams on anything that touches onboarding, funding, or payout risk.
Help keep our AML program, policies, and procedures current as the business and the regulatory picture change.
Support exam and audit readiness, including recordkeeping that stands up to regulator and outside-counsel scrutiny.

Required Qualifications
2+ years in KYC, AML, CDD/EDD, or financial crimes work.
A working knowledge of BSA/AML obligations, sanctions screening, and SAR processes.
Sharp judgment. You can tell the difference between a real red flag and noise, and you know when to escalate.
Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment

Preferred Qualifications
Experience at a brokerage, FCM, IB, or other registered firm. You've seen how compliance works inside a regulated trading business, not just a bank.
Series 3 (National Commodity Futures Examination). Series 30 or other NFA-related registrations are welcome too.
Exposure to futures, derivatives, or prop trading
Familiarity with NFA and CFTC requirements.
Experience with screening/onboarding tooling, including SumSub

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
