Introduction
The Sponsor is looking for support in two areas; Cyber Security Project Engineering and Knowledge Management. Key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining systems and tools in the Sponsor's environment, supporting the development of new tools and systems that align with the Sponsor's goals, and contributing to the creation of the Sponsor's overarching data acquisition and exploitation strategy. The contractors will work on complex, in-person cyber security and knowledge management tasks with minimal or no access to online reference materials, requiring strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills limited access to on line reference materials.
 

Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience:  

  • Cyber Security Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience implementing cybersecurity systems and tools to support forensic imaging of data sources.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing cybersecurity systems and tools to support media analysis of data sources.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and customizing tools to identify and exploit vulnerabilities in systems and applications.
  • Demonstrated experience modifying technical research frameworks to optimize data collectionfrom diverse sources.
  • Demonstrated experience developing tools for cyber analysis and exploitation.
  • Knowledge Management
  • Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining information systems to optimize information sharing and retrieval with integration with existing systems and tools.
  • Demonstrated experience creating technical tools for taxonomies, metadata structures, and search to facilitate easy access to relevant information.

Highly Desired Skills and Demonstrated Experience: 

  • Cyber Security Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience with a strong understanding of networking protocols and vulnerabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience with data engineering and effective communication across platforms and disparate levels of technical knowledge.
  • Demonstrated experience modifying secure communication information systems and processing tools to enhance collaboration across Sponsor's branches and departments.
  • Certification(s): AWS Cloud Practitioner
  • Demonstrated experience with conducting technical research and analysis on various systems and applications for data collection.
  • Demonstrated experience providing root cause cyber analysis on communication platforms
  • Demonstrated experience with a strong understanding of computer network security, networking principles and exploitation techniques
  • Demonstrated experience with reviewing data collections for veracity of information
  • Knowledge Management
  • Demonstrated experience with Sponsor's analyst tools and information systems
  • Demonstrated experience with documenting and managing branch level logistics support information systems
  • Demonstrated experience with Sponsor's reports dissemination tools, and networking/research tools
  • Demonstrated experience with working with Liaison partners and communicating across Sponsor's branches and departments
  • Demonstrated experience with a working knowledge of Sponsor's finance components
  • Demonstrated experience with strong understanding of the use of FISA

US Citizenship:

  • This position requires US Citizenship. Verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements will be confirmed.

Security Clearance:

  • The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
  • Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.

Travel: 

  • This position is expected to be onsite. The position will be located within the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA).   Local travel/POV will be on an as needed basis, within the local place of performance.
