MIND Education, the creators of ST Math, is looking for a highly effective Key Accounts Manager that can think outside the box and be excited to provide solutions to challenges when they arise. MIND is currently seeking a driven, innovative, and motivated problem solver to add to our team. The Key Accounts Manager will be responsible for:

  • Supporting MIND programs in key accounts, primarily large account territories in collaboration with the Education Partnership Manager and the Education Success Manager responsible for the account.

  • Protecting the renewal revenue of each partner and proactively seeking expansion opportunities.

  • Developing and cultivating relationships with district leadership.

  • Collaborating with the Philanthropic Partnerships team in identifying and cultivating state relationships to expand; helping to identify and cultivate prospective philanthropic partners to support this endeavor.

  • Working with Engagement team and the Director of Partnerships Education to develop new presentation tools, sales assets, and marketing messages/campaigns; presenting at key districts, meetings, and conferences as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Establishes strategic, productive and professional relationships with key decision makers in assigned districts.

  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.

  • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs and ensure prompt resolution, while coordinating the involvement of internal company resources.

  • Stay up to date on new technologies, market events/conditions affecting the industry and ultimately grow companys presence and increase revenue.

  • Up to 60% travel, domestically, mostly in Texas

Qualifications

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of related Sales experience and/or Ed Success experience.
  • Successful experience selling and supporting education software and materials at the state and large school district level
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain meaningful business relationships with school districts.
  • Knowledge of competitive education software products.
  • Experience with mathematics in education preferred.
  • Proficient user of SalesForce or related CRM.
  • Ability to quickly gain credibility and respect with internal/external customers.
  • Key selling skills and business planning.
  • Be a team player willing to work for the improvement of the team and its goals.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Sense of urgency with quick decision making and focuses on outcome with clear metrics.
  • Demonstrates MINDs values by acting with integrity, respect and trust.

This position is located in Texas and reports to Central Regional Vice President. This role requires travel to build relationships with state and district leaders. For remote interactions, turning on a webcam is essential.
