What you'll do:

As a Risk Analyst, Associate you'll perform annual due diligence recertification review, analysis, and ongoing monitoring of an assigned portfolio of existing non-delegated and delegated correspondent clients. Correspondent clients consist of mortgage companies, banks and credit unions that sell loans to AmeriHome. You'll provide financial and business analysis recommendations to management. Applicants must be interested in research, data entry, writing, and financial analysis.
  • Manage a portfolio of non-delegated and delegated correspondent clients (mortgage banks and financial institutions). Analyze and spread financial statements. Identify risks, trends, and concerns and write comprehensive analysis.
  • Draft and send legal documents and notices to clients. Verify accuracy of data between documents and systems. Research and collect data from multiple web sources.
  • Manage team email inboxes.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Entry level knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending, including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
  • Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Entry level knowledge of financial statements and analysis.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook. Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat to view and modify PDF files.
  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
