Position: Key Account Manager, 3PL Operations
Location: City of Industry, CA / Fontana, CA
Job Type: Full-time

Job Description

As a Key Account Manager, 3PL Operations, you will be responsible for managing high-value client relationships, driving operational efficiencies, and ensuring exceptional service delivery for JD Logistics' largest accounts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored logistics solutions, optimize warehouse processes, and improve financial performance. This role requires strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain management.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Client Management – Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring alignment between their business needs and JD Logistics’ service capabilities.
  • Client Onboarding & Process Optimization – Lead onboarding for large accounts, ensuring seamless integration with warehouse operations, WMS, OMS, and billing systems.
  • Financial Performance & P&L Analysis – Conduct in-depth financial analysis for major accounts, tracking profitability and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Operational Excellence & KPI Management – Oversee service level agreements (SLAs), drive process improvements, and ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met or exceeded.
  • Cross-Border & Global Collaboration – Work closely with JD.com teams across Europe, Thailand, Indonesia, and other regions to enhance global supply chain solutions.
  • Vendor & Third-Party Management – Monitor and optimize third-party service provider performance to ensure operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Billing & Contract Compliance – Partner with finance teams to streamline billing, ensure accurate invoicing, and improve overall account receivables/payables processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in key account management, supply chain, logistics, or e-commerce.
  • Bilingual in Chinese and English (required).
  • Proven experience managing high-value client relationships and complex logistics operations.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L analysis and contract management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with coding, data analysis, or CRM systems.
