As an IT Systems Engineer, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and external parties to support our delivery of the HiveWatch GSOC OS SaaS platform and services. Information Technology at HiveWatch is on a mission to enable each department’s success through reliable infrastructure, tools, & processes. You'll leverage your deep technical support and operational experience to understand our current and future needs, implement technical solutions, and will be critical to ensuring our platform delivers measurable security outcomes for our customers.

• Manage and execute on a queue of tickets (requests) both self-created and from internal stakeholders
• Administer business productivity software (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) including access, policy configuration, and license management
• Manage endpoints via MDM ensuring adherence to device policy
• Gather information to chase an issue to resolution, even when unfamiliar. Leveraging and understanding logs, opening tickets with service providers, and keeping affected parties apprised.
• Support the HQ technology stack including wireless networks, presentation equipment, conference rooms, phones, and printers.
• Create and deliver documentation regarding best practices and configuration changes 
• Work from our headquarters in El Segundo, CA

• 4+ years of technical support experience for SMBs, whether internal or as an external consultant (MSP)
• A wide knowledge of troubleshooting principles, best practices, and premier support skills
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with demonstrated experience recommending the right solution to complex challenges 
• Experience with one or more IAM tools with a strong understanding of SSO, provisioning, as well as application and group management
• Strong MacOS background and experience supporting Windows environments (physical and virtual endpoints)
• Experience working with virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Proxmox, AHV, etc.)
• Experience working in one or more major cloud provider environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience troubleshooting networks (configuring routing, firewall rules & virtual private networks)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to explain technical concepts to various stakeholders
• Strong time management, organizational, written and verbal skills

• Experience with relevant compliance or risk management standards and frameworks such as SOC2, NIST, or FedRamp.
• Startup experience and/or early stage SaaS experience
• IT project design and management experience
• Direct experience supporting a GSOC or SOC environment
• Low voltage & cabling experience 

ADDITIONAL INFO:

• Base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $140,000 USD per year
• Eligible to participate in HiveWatch Equity Incentive Plan
