About the Position 

We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to support the IT team across development, data services, ERP, web, and mobile applications. This role serves as a key liaison between IT and the business, ensuring that technology solutions effectively meet operational needs. The IT Business Analyst will manage and centralize project intake for IT, gathering and documenting business requirements, identifying project dependencies, and aligning requests with company priorities and the overall IT strategy. This role plays a critical part in recommending and prioritizing solutions that best support business objectives. This position will also provide support for internal applications and services, including troubleshooting issues and coordinating resolutions or escalations as needed.

What you can do for us:

  • Manage intake and oversee the project portfolio for IT initiatives across Development, ERP, and Data Services.
  • Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing systems, data, and processes.
  • Evaluate and recommend project prioritization in alignment with business objectives and IT strategy.
  • Partner with business units to support solution validation, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and feedback cycles.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and system performance through analysis and user feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define solution approaches, including data, processes, integrations, controls, and outputs.
  • Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation, including requirements, test plans, user guides, and knowledge base materials.
  • Analyze data and workflows to generate insights and support informed decision-making.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in all project documentation and deliverables.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, working across teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues.

Requirements

  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis or related roles supporting technology initiatives
  • Proven experience working on enterprise-level projects
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of business process modeling and requirements gathering techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting or working with web applications, ERP systems, or software development environments.
  • Familiarity with project management and support tools such as Notion, Zendesk, Businessmap and Jira

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms. 

· The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. 

· Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.

· Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.

· Required to use stairwells to attend meetings and engage with employees on multiple floors throughout building.

Compensation

Starting annual salary: $75,000-95,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
