Team and Role Overview

Relativity is creating the first autonomous rocket factory. Our vision is to build the future of humanity in space – starting with rockets. Our competitive edge comes from the cost and lead time advantages afforded by radically simplifying designs using 3D printed parts. In order to execute on those advantages, we need strong a strong team of technicians to swiftly and reliably process critical hardware through the factory, and interface closely with a driven team of rocket industry veterans to make this cutting-edge technology a production reality.

The Mission/Outcomes and Objectives

As Propulsion Technician I, you will be on the front line of fabrication and assembly of the Aeon-1 engine. This is a unique opportunity to join an experienced team and build the skills necessary to create robust and highly tuned engine systems. You will interpret work instructions and engineering drawings to complete the necessary tasks, while providing valuable feedback to the team on necessary improvements.

In order to be successful in this role, you should be someone who thrives in ambiguity and is able to efficiently complete the task at hand. You must have the passion, tenacity, and resolve to work through challenging issues unique to rocket engines.  Ideally, you are someone who has come from a fast-paced environment, and have worked hands-on while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary groups.  More specifically, we are looking for someone with strong communication skills, desire for growth, and willingness to learn from and collaborate with engineering and technician staff.
