The Marketing Team:
The Ruggable Marketing Team is collaborative and dynamic with clear growth targets in mind. Working closely with the Design, Creative, Operations, and Executive teams, the team aims to exceed revenue targets, elevate our brand status and broaden our customer appeal. We learn fast to adapt to the ever-changing e-commerce landscape.
This role is focused on our licensing business within the marketing team. Our past licensed launches have been with Disney, Star Wars, and fashion designer Cynthia Rowley, and we are excited to find new partners to collaborate with.
Job Summary:
This role will report directly to the Special Projects Manager leading our licensing business, where we’re focused on identifying new partnership opportunities and successfully launching them. This role needs a detail oriented, analytical, strategic and creative thinker who has strong project management and communication skills and is comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. This is an exciting opportunity to help influence our fast-growing licensing business while getting hands-on experience in product marketing the licensed launches.
This role will communicate with external partners and potential collaborators, help manage external relationships, and help the Special Projects Manager project manage multiple product launches concurrently to ensure we’re on track for successful launches.
This is a remote part-time internship position starting soon, with the potential to extend into summer as a full-time internship. We are looking for candidates who are currently enrolled in undergraduate studies and can dedicate two hours per weekday to the internship.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist the Special Projects Manager in the product marketing launches of each licensed launch
- Assist the Special Projects Manager identify potential partnership opportunities
- Perform market research on licensing and brand collaborations
- Outreach to potential partners
- Develop status tracking and reports
- Proactively communicate project updates through Asana
What You’ll Need to Have:
- Actively enrolled in an undergraduate university with previous internship experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A creative mindset, can-do attitude and are excited to help build something
- Organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of Google Sheets and Google Slides
- Experience with Asana is a plus
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Hours and Compensation:
- Job type: part-time internship, potential for full-time internship over summer
- Availability: must be available to work two hours per weekday (10 hours per week)
