FabFitFun is seeking a Summer 2019 Data Science Intern to help support business stakeholders, recognize and capitalize on opportunities in our rich datasets, and help develop long-term processes and pipelines. In this role, you will learn to use machine learning algorithms to help solve real business problems as well as perform the necessary data mining/cleaning, relevant statistical analyses, and tuning/implementation of appropriate models and algorithms. 

What you’ll do:

• Assist in carrying out analyses for various business teams
• Develop clear visualizations to convey complex ideas
• Assist in research on different business hypotheses using different modeling techniques
• Perform deep and continuous exploration of high-volume data
• Develop, tune, and deliver various models and algorithms
• In depth research of relevant algorithms and models

What you'll bring: 

• Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Data Science, Math/Statistics or related field 
• Excellent research skills
• Strong knowledge in Statistics
• Knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms (SVM,KNN, Decision Trees, Random Forests, etc.)
• Experience with Python and SQL 
• Solid programming skills
