FabFitFun is looking for a Back-End Software Engineer Intern to join our team for Summer 2020! We are looking for Senior level students pursuing a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, that will be graduating in 2021. In this role you will work on innovative projects that offer great technical challenges. Interns will work on guided projects over the Summer that will directly impact our business needs. This is an opportunity to work on a dynamic Engineering team, with tons of learning potential and mentorship in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and develop clean, maintainable, and performant software
  • Write efficient and reusable back-end code 
  • Help define development standards, procedures, and guidelines to improve the overall development process
  • Working in a test-driven development and an agile environment
  • Partner cross-functionally with our team of Engineers, Product, QA, and UX Design to help design and develop our backend platforms

What You'll Bring:

  • Senior level students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related technical discipline
  • Proficient knowledge of Java programming language concepts, Java EE and SQL
  • Experience working with basic data structures and algorithms in Java
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Previous internships or relevant projects within the engineering field
