The role you're applying for:
No two businesses are alike! The integration Engineering team develops customization's for BlackLine clients that touch database code. Automation is the key to delivering customer value faster, while creating more bandwidth for the team members to work on creative problem solving. Join the Integration Engineering team to develop automation tools for build, deployment and validation.
What You'll Do:
- Automate Journal Carve Outs Database Modifications Process
- Automate various file configuration processes, e.g. FTP, encryption/decryption, etc.
- Automate Journal Approval Build Deployment
- Automate the process of comparing custom DDL
- Learn to use various development tools, including Powershell, Git, Visual Studio, Jenkins, SQL Server Management Studio, etc.
- Learn to write code using Powershell, T-SQL, etc.
- Understand software development processes
Qualifications:
- You must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate in Spring 2020 or be graduating in 2020
- Experience with any scripting language, such as, PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Basic understanding of relational databases
- Curiosity and initiative to help identify and implement technical solutions to challenging problems
- A desire to explore opportunities in a technical field as a member of a team of engineers
Physical Requirements:
Work is primarily sedentary in nature; no special demands required.
