Aerospace offers a variety of challenging roles for qualified candidates that have recently completed (or are obtaining) a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in technical and engineering disciplines. What you’ll be doing:
- Participates with an interdisciplinary team in ongoing research or technical programs with academic collaboration partners.
- Applies standard techniques and procedures to carry out a series of prescribed scientific and/or engineering tasks
- Training and mentorship will be provided.
Performance standards at Aerospace include:
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Must work well in a team environment
- Must possess strong organizational, time management and project management skills
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational need
- Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations
What you need to be successful:
- Candidates must be within 12 months of their graduation date
- Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D. from an accredited college/university program in one of the following:
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Software Engineering
- Cybersecurity
- Computer Systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance
- US Citizenship required
How you can stand out:
- GPA 3.5 or higher
- Active security clearance
- Prior internship or research experience in a related field
- Leadership and teamwork experience
- Extracurricular activities (campus organizations, clubs, student organizations, community service)
- Coursework or interest in the following subjects:
- Intelligent Systems/Machine Learning
- SaaS/Cloud Computing
- Time Series Data Analysis
- Data Analytics
- Embedded Software Engineering
- Software Development Life Cycle
- Software Modeling
- Systems Architecture and Design (both hardware/software)
