WHO WE ARE

Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40+ rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.

Lexus of Thousand Oaks is a high-expectation luxury store with a guest base that begins their ownership journey online. • Build rapport and assess customer needs, preferences, and budgets.
  • Answer questions about vehicle specifications, performance, and technology.
  • Present and demonstrate vehicles, including features and benefits.
  • Negotiate pricing, trade-ins, and financing options.
  • Guide guests through the sales process from initial contact to final purchase.
  • Finalize sales agreements and follow up to ensure satisfaction.

  • Support dealership events and ensure vehicles are sale-ready.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Must live within 30 miles of Thousand Oaks, CA -- required

• Lexus or luxury brand experience a strong plus

• CRM discipline -- you don't let leads go cold and you don't skip follow-up steps

• Fast, clear, and professional written communicator -- your emails and texts represent the Lexus brand

• Comfortable managing high lead volume simultaneously without losing the personal touch that earns appointments

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• A hospitality mindset -- even behind a screen, every guest interaction reflects the standard of the brand

• A store that takes digital seriously -- the tools, the processes, and the leadership support to perform at a high level in the internet department

WHY LEXUS OF THOUSAND OAKS

• Lexus buyers are among the most digitally engaged luxury shoppers in the country -- they research thoroughly before they reach out, which means an internet consultant who responds fast and communicates well earns the appointment almost every time

• Thousand Oaks is an affluent, high-intent market -- the leads here are serious buyers and the earning potential for a disciplined internet consultant is real

• Swickard is one of the fastest-growing dealer groups in the country -- ranked Top 5 in North America for reputation in the automotive industry

• A store that values the internet department as a revenue driver, not a pass-through -- your results are tracked, recognized, and rewarded

• Our HEART values -- Honor, Engage, Anticipate, Respond, Thank -- are exactly what great internet sales looks like in practice

• Leadership that invests in your digital tools, your process, and your long-term development

Lexus of Thousand Oaks gives a disciplined internet sales professional the brand, the market, and the organizational support to perform at the top of their game. Lexus buyers are loyal -- and the consultant who earns that loyalty online, before they ever visit the store, builds a book of business that compounds over time.

If you have the automotive experience, the digital discipline, and the hospitality mindset to earn a Lexus guest's trust through a screen -- we'd like to meet you.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
