We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Internal Communications professional to join our team. The Internal Communications Manager will support the Internal Communications function by assisting with function-specific communications for several areas of the business and supporting the Sr. Manager, Internal Communications with enterprise communications. In addition, this role will be responsible for supporting the strategy and effectiveness of key communications systems including Risepoint’s intranet, crisis management tool, and two-way communications channels. This position will report to the VP, Internal Communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary author and Internal Communications point of contact for identified areas of the business including Finance, Legal & Compliance, Business Technology, and Academic Product & Innovation.

  • Proactively engage with identified key communicators to understand function-specific objectives and provide strategic guidance for communicating these concepts to an employee audience

  • Guide and execute a content strategy for the Risepoint intranet and connected internal sites (SharePoint)

  • Serve as the community manager and key point of contact for Risepoint’s two-way communication channels

  • Provide support as the Internal Communications subject matter expert for Risepoint’s crisis management communications tool

  • Partner with Internal Communications team on incoming communications requests to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives

  • Support in reinforcing the defined governance structure and framework for content approval methodologies

  • Help inform business cases for any proposals for department enhancements and process changes and partnership with the Sr. Manager, Internal Communications and the VP, Internal Communications.

  • Support the Sr. Manager, Internal Communications with drafting key messages, written communications, and talking points for change initiatives

  • Support with monitoring employee sentiment and provide recommendations to address feedback

  • Help facilitate employee listening efforts based on the strategy created by the Sr. Manager, Internal Communications.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and communication across the organization.

  • Support additional communications as requested by VP, Internal Communications, Chief Communications Officer, or the Sr. Manager, Internal

  • Communications and foster a positive and inclusive company culture through effective communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in internal communications or a related role.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
