As an intern you will be a part of the 12 week summer internship program that will provide an exceptional learning experience and an opportunity to be a part of a company who is helping Americans find convenient and affordable healthcare. About the Role:
GoodRx is looking for an Intern to join the Internal Audit Team.
Responsibilities:
Support Sarbanes–Oxley (SOX) and Operational audits for both business process and IT functions.
Assist in evaluating internal controls over financial reporting (business process testing)
Assist in evaluating IT general controls (ITGCs) such as access management, change management, and system operations.
Observe process walkthroughs to identify key activities, risks, and controls.
Identify, discuss, and report control deficiencies and operational gaps.
Collaborate with management to ensure corrective actions are being implemented.
Prepare well-documented workpapers that are clear and organized.
Assist in drafting audit reports and summaries for management.
Expand audit, accounting, and technical knowledge through hands-on experience.
Seek clarification and ask questions to enhance understanding of assigned tasks.
Provide status updates on task progress and communicate any challenges to supervisors.
Listen and engage with peers, managers, and clients to foster collaboration.
Demonstrate dedication to help the Internal Audit department meet key milestones.
Help prepare documentation for ESG reporting (the disclosure of environmental, social and corporate governance data).
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree candidate, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
A foundation in core business processes
Ability to work independently and in teams
Extremely curious and motivated to develop your skills throughout the internship!
Preferred location: Hybrid in Santa Monica, San Francisco, or New York
Graduating class of May/June 2027 - May/June 2028
Able to commit to a full-time internship program for 12 weeks during the summer of 2026.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation rate for undergraduate students is $22.00 an hour.
GoodRx also offers medical, dental, and vision benefits to interns throughout the duration of the internship.
