Position Summary
At Well People, we’re redefining beauty with clean, plant-powered products that deliver high-performance without compromise. As the Brand and Social Marketing Intern, you’ll be an integral part of the Well People marketing team, contributing to initiatives that shape the brand’s success and connect with our core Millennial and Gen X audiences. In this paid role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in sampling campaigns, marketing planning, content creation, and event coordination. Key Responsibilities
Sampling: You’ll manage product sampling campaigns by developing messaging and executing plans to introduce Well People products to health-conscious audiences. This includes tracking campaign results, analyzing performance, and providing actionable recommendations to improve future initiatives.
Trendspotting & Cultural Moments: Trendspotting will be a big part of your role as you monitor beauty trends and cultural moments that resonate with Millennials and Gen X. You’ll help identify opportunities for Well People to participate in meaningful moments such as International Women’s Month, Pride, and Latin Heritage Month, while keeping an eye on competitor activity in the clean beauty space.
Content Creation: You’ll collaborate with the social team to create engaging and authentic material for TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms. You’ll actively connect with and grow Well People’s social community, fostering engagement and loyalty through storytelling. You should be comfortable being in front of the camera for videos, live sessions, and other creative content.
Community Engagement: Engaging with community on social channels, replying to comments and fostering ongoing connections with our audience
Event Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating brand events such as product launches, influencer activations, and external brand pop-ups. You’ll handle logistics like event materials, product inventory, and onsite setup while providing hands-on support to ensure a seamless experience. Post-event, you’ll collect feedback to refine strategies for future activations.
Additional Marketing Support: You’ll support the team with reporting, presentations, and various marketing initiatives aligned with Well People’s mission of clean beauty, innovation, and accessibility.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Must be LA based
- A passion for clean beauty, wellness, and sustainability.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Creative storytelling skills and a proactive approach to identifying trends and opportunities.
- Comfort and enthusiasm for being on-camera to engage with social audiences.
- Knowledge of social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, and an understanding of how to foster community.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
