Job Description:

This intern role is geared towards enabling key product marketing activities for HRAP (High Reliability Analog and Power) division of HRR High Reliability and RF division within Microchip Technology.

This role will provide key support to Product marketing function in core and adjacent activities while gaining valuable product knowledge related with Hi-Rel discrete and modules, space power converters, power relays, and aviation solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collateral management: Create and manage collateral such as presentation, datasheets, web pages, product pages, labels, blogs etc. Manage existing and new demo kits/eval boards /reference designs for event readiness.
  • Market Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends and competitor activity.
  • Product Development: Support the development and execution of go-to-market plans for new products.
  • Content Creation: Contributing to the creation of go-to-market collaterals, such as product promotion materials.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively in a team environment and take initiative on individual tasks.
  • Communication: Develop excellent communication and teamwork abilities to support marketing efforts such as event readiness of demos and relevant collaterals

    Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field
    • Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with marketing concepts and electrical engineering principles
    • Soft skills Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
    • Data Management: Familiarity with data tools such as Tableau
    • AI knowledge: Curiosity to learn AI tools or automation in marketing related tasks.
    • Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
    • Initiative: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take initiative on individual tasks
    • Ethics and values: Integrity and trust in adherence with Microchip’s core values and ethos

    U.S. Export Controls Requirements: This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3).
