We're looking for a Marketing Intern to jump in alongside us, learn fast, and make real contributions to work the whole company will see.

You’ll gain exposure to multiple facets of marketing. You'll get hands-on experience across content, social media, brand, events, and creative production — collaborating with a tight-knit marketing team, external agencies, and partners across sales, product, and executive leadership. The intern will also play a critical role in supporting the marketing team as we scale our lead generation, dealer enablement, and brand awareness initiatives to reach our Q1 sales targets.

What You'll Do:
  • Event Marketing & Brand Activations
    • Support planning, logistics, and execution of key events (e.g., industry expos, dealer trainings, Harbinger ride & drives, and sponsorship activations).
    • Coordinate materials and assets needed for events: signage, brochures, giveaways, and product displays.
    • Assist in on-site event support including setup, brand booth organization, etc.
    • Help capture content from events for use across our channels.
  • Marketing Operations & Campaign Support
    • Get hands-on with tools like HubSpot and Canva.
    • Support asset organization, version control, and reporting on campaign performance.
    • Collaborate with sales and ops on lead handoff and CRM hygiene.
  • Content & Asset Coordination
    • Help manage updates to Harbinger’s website, internal resources, and dealer resources.
    • Draft or refine event-related social media copy and content for LinkedIn or internal communications.
    • Support asset version control to ensure consistency across files, templates, and platforms.
    • Collaborate with creative partners or agencies on revisions and asset delivery.
  • Brand & Creative
    • Support the team across brand initiatives, including new website launches, ad campaigns, one-pagers, and marketing collateral
    • Coordinate with agencies and vendors on revisions, deliverables, and asset management.
    • Help maintain brand consistency across every public-facing touchpoint.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Internal Communications
    • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Service teams to build marketing materials, dealer resources, and event execution.
Required Skills:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-style environment where priorities evolve quickly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; experience with Canva, Adobe tools, CapCut, Hubspot, Instantly is a plus.
  • Proactive, collaborative attitude.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
