Sysco LABS Sri Lanka delivers the technology that powers Sysco’s end-to-end operations. Sysco LABS’ enterprise technology is present in the end-to-end foodservice journey, enabling the sourcing of food products, merchandising, storage and warehouse operations, order placement and pricing algorithms, the delivery of food and supplies to Sysco’s global network and the in-restaurant dining experience of the end-customer.
Responsibilities:
- Designing scalable, robust and cost-effective solutions, in collaboration with the senior engineering staff
- Implementing solutions based on the design, adhering to engineering best practices, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
- Writing unit, integration, and functional tests for the solutions
- Working collaboratively in a cross functional team environment
- Adhering to DevOps principles and being involved with projects during their full software lifecycle from development, QA, and deployment
Requirements:
- Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming using Java
- Sound knowledge of the fundamentals of JavaScript
- A basic working proficiency of RDBMS technology
- Sound knowledge of UI/UX design principles
- Sound knowledge of React.JS framework
- Knowledge of NodeJS would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Java Spring boot would be an added advantage
