Intern – Group Human Resources 

(Based at Battaramulla)

To support the department in day-to-day operations while gaining practical exposure and hands-on experience in a professional work environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Support with the Strategic Planning Process for HR (data collation, presentations etc.) 

• Supporting the HR Governance process and deliverables 

• Administrative functions such as meeting scheduling, facilitating and minute taking 

• Keeping track of deliverables and following up on them 

• In terms of what the intern will be able to get out of this – exposure into the HR function, including Strategic Planning, Governance; hands on experience in stakeholder management and working with the different Value Streams/SBUs and Functions within MAS.

Requirements 

• Reading for/Completed a Degree in Finance/Management/HR 

• Studying for/completed a professional qualification such as CIMA/ACCA/AAT/CMA 

• Number savvy, proficiency in Microsoft functions such as Excel, PowerPoint 

• Good communication skills & proficiency in writing
