Manage design phases for residential projects, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Coordinate with teams, review designs, monitor timelines, and propose solutions.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Intermediate Project Manager – Design to support the planning and execution of design-related activities across multiple development and renovation projects. This role will work closely with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects move forward efficiently and meet Tripalink’s quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate design phases for residential development and renovation projects from concept through construction
- Work closely with architects, consultants, and internal teams to track design progress and deliverables
- Review drawings and design packages for completeness and compliance with project requirements
- Assist in managing project timelines and design schedules across multiple active projects
- Support permit submittals and track approval processes with local jurisdictions
- Coordinate design revisions and ensure accurate documentation is maintained
- Monitor project milestones and report progress to senior leadership
- Help identify potential risks or delays and propose practical solutions
- Maintain organized project documentation and records
- Support value engineering and cost-conscious design decisions
- Collaborate with construction and operations teams to ensure design intent is maintained during execution
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in design coordination, construction project management, or real estate development
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, Interior Design, or related field preferred
- Experience working on multifamily or residential projects preferred
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and design documentation
- Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with permitting processes is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Experience with project management tools is a plus
