About the role

As Gaming Interactive Partnership Senior Manager within the Global Partnerships team in Business Development, you will manage and nurture strategic relationships with gaming publishers and partners. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the success of Interactive Partnerships pipeline and how it applies to the Crunchyroll Games strategies; directly contribute to user growth, retention, membership value and monetization. You will need to understand media dynamics, have partner management skills, and be perceptive for capitalizing on opportunities within the interactive and Gaming ecosystem.

In the role of Gaming Interactive Partnership Senior Manager, you will report to the Director of Interactive Partnerships.

We are considering applicants for the location of Los Angeles, CA.

Core Areas of Responsibility
  • Be the primary contact for assigned game publishers and inbound opportunities, maintaining regular communication and promptly addressing their needs, inquiries, and concerns.
  • Work with the Director, Interactive Partnerships, to support larger strategic interactive partnerships and company-wide programs.
  • Manage interdepartmental execution of complex strategic partnerships with mobile, free-to-play, and PC gaming and interactive partners.
  • Build presentations and partner materials to secure interactive partnership opportunities and advance our strategic direction for Interactive Partnerships.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements with existing gaming and interactive partners and support negotiation of new partner agreements that meet our goals while promoting a deep partnership foundation.
  • Assess new leads and title evaluation opportunities through a strategic lens, working with the Games Business Development and Strategic Gaming Initiative teams.
  • Monitor performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and develop action plans to optimize performance.
  • Travel to partner meetings and represent Crunchyroll in industry events.
About You

  • 8+ years of experience in partner management or business development within mobile / premium games, interactive platforms, entertainment, or consumer tech.
  • Long-term partner management experience and business development within the Game and Interactive industry.
  • Experience overseeing end-to-end launches of programs.
  • Experience in establishing, nurturing, and maintaining relationships with main gaming partners and publishers.
  • Experience working with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Experience negotiating with partners to represent organizational interests.
  • Have a strong curiosity about Anime and its intersection with mobile gaming.
  • Demonstrated experience driving business growth and revenue through successful partner management goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

The Partnerships team leads important collaborations and daily support between global streaming distribution outlets, interactive partners, game pipelines, and overall main flywheel programs. We are focused on maximizing Crunchyroll's presence across partners and growing revenue/subscribers -- all while working with several teams, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and more. Our team comprises passionate experts who want to make it easier for fans to consume all forms of anime content.

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
