Integrated Growth StrategistAbout Cro Metrics

At Cro Metrics, we’re on a mission to redefine growth for organizations and brands through unparalleled digital experiences that inspire action and deliver results. With transformative experimentation as our guide, we bridge bold ideas with practical solutions to create lasting impact.

We are a growth optimization agency that partners with mission-driven and high-growth companies to scale through data-driven experimentation. Our expertise spans A/B testing, personalization, paid media, and full-funnel digital strategy—empowering clients to make smarter decisions that drive measurable results.

Our fully remote team of strategists, analysts, engineers, and designers works across industries including eCommerce, fintech, nonprofit, and hospitality. We believe in autonomy, collaboration, and innovation as we help our clients grow smarter and faster.

About the Role

As an Integrated Growth Strategist, you’ll lead experimentation and optimization programs that uncover, validate, and scale opportunities driving measurable business impact. You’ll take a holistic view of the customer journey — analyzing how prospects and customers engage across channels and lifecycle stages — to inform integrated growth strategies that improve acquisition, conversion, retention, and lifetime value.

You’ll balance analytical rigor with creative insight, using data-driven experimentation to guide marketing and experience improvements that connect directly to client goals. With strength in lifecycle marketing and a broad understanding of related disciplines — including paid media, conversion optimization, and analytics — you’ll collaborate with specialists across functions to design and deliver cohesive, high-impact experimentation roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead integrated growth programs for assigned clients, owning priorities, outcomes, and overall customer journey analysis.
  • Build and manage testing roadmaps aligned with client KPIs, business objectives, and lifecycle stages.
  • Translate research, data, and customer behavior insights into actionable hypotheses and test strategies.
  • Analyze experiment and channel performance to uncover friction points and opportunities across acquisition, nurture, conversion, and retention touchpoints.
  • Partner with channel and functional specialists (CRO, paid media, lifecycle, analytics, SEO) to deliver coordinated testing strategies that improve full-funnel performance.
  • Present findings and recommendations with clarity, connecting insights to strategic implications and measurable business outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for program expansion, marketing automation, and cross-channel innovation.
What Makes a Great IGS
  • 4–6 years in digital growth, marketing strategy, or experimentation roles (agency experience preferred).
  • Demonstrated success linking experimentation and optimization to measurable growth outcomes.
  • Strength in lifecycle marketing (nurture, email, automation) with a general understanding of paid media, CRO, and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, or Klaviyo.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and how organic channels contribute to the customer journey.
  • Confident communicator who balances data-driven analysis with creative insight and client context.
  • Proven bias for action, accountability, and curiosity to learn across multiple marketing disciplines.
What Motivates You
  • You love finding the “why” behind customer behavior and performance trends.
  • You’re energized by connecting data and storytelling to clarify complex problems.
  • You’re passionate about improving the end-to-end customer experience through experimentation and growth strategy.
  • You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments where you can help shape client marketing programs holistically.

Compensation:

  • We’re hiring for the Integrated Growth Strategist role, with a compensation range of $90,000–$110,000. A Senior Integrated Growth Strategist range ($110,000–$130,000) may be considered for candidates whose experience aligns with that scope. Final title and compensation will be determined through the interview process.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
