  • Use operational data and team insight to make informed decisions around workload distribution, staffing needs, and process adjustments.
  • Actively coach and develop team members through regular connection, feedback, and guidance, creating clarity around expectations and supporting individual and team growth.
  • Build and sustain a connected team environment where in‑office and cross‑border team members operate as one unified team with shared goals and standards.
  • Play an active role in shaping the future of the team by contributing to strategy, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and evolving how the function operates and scales.
  • Support departmental initiatives and projects that strengthen performance, stability, and long‑term team success.

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience directly leading a team, with clear accountability for day-to-day performance and results.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Experience in banking, accounting, finance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a related field strongly preferred and considered a significant advantage.
  • Demonstrated success improving team productivity through goal setting, performance management, and the use of metrics and reporting to drive decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly and confidently speak to processes, workflows, and decisions in a structured, well-informed manner.
  • Leadership approach grounded in emotional intelligence, with the ability to coach, provide meaningful feedback, and develop team members.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work a hybrid schedule with regular in-office presence in the Riverside office, along with a collaborative mindset and commitment to building a high-performing team.

The expected salary range for this position is $70,360 - $76,960 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
