Presidio, Where Teamwork and Innovation Shape the Future
At Presidio, we're at the forefront of a global technology revolution, transforming industries through cutting-edge digital solutions and next-generation AI. We empower businesses - and their internal customers - to achieve more through innovation, automation, and intelligent insights.

The Role

The Inside Solution Architect will support Presidio’s Inside PreSales Support Team by helping configure, support, and continuously improve the XaitCPQ platform and the related presales workflows used to create Professional Services scopes, pricing documents, Project Change Requests, and proposal deliverables.

This is not just a support role. It is a platform ownership and enablement role for someone who can combine technical curiosity, business awareness, strong communication, and a service-oriented mindset. The person in this position will help users get answers, resolve issues, improve accuracy, reduce friction, and make XaitCPQ easier and more effective for the teams who depend on it.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as a primary support and ownership resource for Presidio’s XaitCPQ platform, including user questions, issue investigation, bug triage, configuration support, and process guidance.
  • Assist Solution Architects, Inside Sales, and presales teams with XaitCPQ usage, Professional Services scope creation, service pricing documents, proposal workflows, and Project Change Requests.
  • Identify, document, and communicate platform issues clearly, including steps to reproduce, business impact, temporary workarounds, and recommended fixes.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, platform administrators, vendors, and technical teams to resolve bugs, improve workflows, and support ongoing enhancements.
  • Create and maintain practical documentation, job aids, FAQs, and training materials that help users complete work accurately and efficiently.
  • Support onboarding, mentoring, and enablement for users who need help understanding XaitCPQ, Salesforce-related presales processes, and Professional Services scoping best practices.
  • Look for opportunities to simplify processes, reduce repeat questions, improve data quality, and make the platform more intuitive for presales users.

What We Are Looking For

  • Someone who takes ownership and follows issues through to resolution.
  • A clear communicator who can translate technical or process issues into practical guidance for users.
  • A curious problem solver who enjoys learning systems, finding root causes, and improving how work gets done.
  • A detail-oriented teammate who understands the importance of accuracy in scoping, pricing, proposals, and customer-facing deliverables.
  • A person who is comfortable working across teams, asking good questions, documenting findings, and helping others learn.
  • Someone who can balance daily support requests with longer-term improvement work.

Helpful Experience

  • Experience in presales, solution architecture, professional services, sales operations, platform support, or a related technical support function.
  • Familiarity with XaitCPQ, Salesforce, ServiceNow, proposal tools, CPQ platforms, or services scoping workflows is helpful but not required for every candidate.
  • Understanding of Professional Services concepts such as statements of work, scope definition, pricing inputs, deliverables, assumptions, and change requests.
  • Exposure to infrastructure, cloud, security, data center, collaboration, or managed services technologies.
  • Experience creating training materials, process documentation, user guides, or knowledge base articles.
  • Comfort with automation, reporting, APIs, AI tools, scripting, or process improvement is a plus.

Education and Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional or military experience.
  • 2-4+ years of relevant experience in presales, technical support, platform administration, professional services, IT operations, or a related field.
  • Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate professionally through email, tickets, documentation, and live conversations.
  • Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly and apply that knowledge to support others.
  • Knowledge and experience with programming, scripting, web APIs, and / or Delphi are desireable
  • Industry or manufacturer certifications are helpful but not required.

Why This Is a Great Opportunity

This role gives you the chance to become a trusted expert in a platform that directly supports Presidio’s services business. You will work with smart, collaborative teams, gain visibility into how solutions are scoped and sold, and influence the tools and processes that help presales teams operate more effectively. For the right candidate, this position can be a strong stepping-stone toward broader roles in solution architecture, presales operations, platform administration, sales engineering, or services strategy.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
