Description

If you love helping small businesses grow, this could be the best opportunity you’ll ever take on. We’re not just another lead gen agency — we’ve been in business for over 20 years with more than 100 team members and a powerful system behind us. We help small business owners improve their websites, advertising, and marketing with practical, real-world solutions that actually work — and we do it at a price they can afford.

Every rep on our team builds their own book of business and earns residual income month after month for every client they close. You’ll have the freedom to be your own boss while still having access to the structure, tools, and support of a seasoned agency. We’ve got weekly training, call recordings, fulfillment handled, and a system that works — so you can focus on what you do best: selling.

If you're someone who loves prospecting, thrives on winning new business, and wants the flexibility and upside of a contractor role, this is built for you.

We’re a fast-moving lead generation agency with a reliable fulfillment team and a pre-built database of high-quality business leads in niche markets. We're looking for a driven Sales Rep (Contractor) who can take ownership of the entire sales process — from first contact to close.

This is not a junior or salaried position. You won’t just be setting appointments or passing leads. You’ll own the pipeline and get paid on every account you close — for the lifetime of that client. If you’ve closed digital marketing services before and want a scalable system, clear expectations, and unlimited earning potential, this is for you.

Role Overview

As a Sales Representative (Independent Contractor), you will:

  • Work a targeted list of qualified leads (provided)
  • Perform cold outreach: calls, emails, SMS, Loom videos
  • Book and run your own discovery/sales calls
  • Close deals and hand off to our in-house fulfillment team
  • Track opportunities and pipeline activity daily
  • Follow up persistently and professionally
  • Attend weekly training sessions and use our call recordings to improve
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with small business owners

This is a commission-only contractor role, but it’s backed by real structure, coaching, and accountability. You’ll receive full support, a repeatable sales process, and the tools you need to succeed.

Requirements

We’re only looking for contractors who:

  • Have 1–3+ years of experience selling digital marketing services (SEO, PPC, web design, etc.) to small businesses
  • Have closed full cycle deals and are confident in handling objections, follow-up, and closing
  • Have worked commission-only or 1099 sales roles before
  • Are self-starters who want structure, not hand-holding
  • Can communicate clearly and follow through with consistent outreach
  • Are familiar with HubSpot CRM and sales tracking tools
  • Can produce video intros and handle asynchronous outreach

Bonus if you:

  • Have worked with territory-based accounts or understand local business sales
  • Are able to adapt quickly, manage rejection, and keep momentum
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, accountability-driven sales culture
Benefits
  • Work as an independent contractor (1099) with the flexibility to set your own hours.
  • Enjoy the freedom to work from anywhere you choose.
  • Determine your own schedule and have a better work-life balance.
  • Gain experience in social media and growth marketing
  • Access to a dynamic team for collaboration and support.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
