Leads all aspects of the Infection Control Program, including surveillance, education, data collection and report generation and reporting. Plans and coordinates the Hospital-wide Occupational Health program based on hospital-specific needs, CDC guidelines, OSHA and CAL-OSHA regulations, CMS requirements, Joint Commission standards.
Requirements:
1. LVN, RN, and/or Degree in Public Health, Microbiology or Epidemiology
2. Minimum 2 years experience in an acute care setting or hospital off-site medical facility, or equivalent. Experience in Occupational Health, Employee Health, or Infection Control preferred. Must be experienced and comfortable with multiple computer programs.
3. CIC preferred.
