About OpenLoop

OpenLoop was co-founded by CEO, Dr. Jon Lensing, and COO, Christian Williams, with the vision to bring healing anywhere. Our tele-health support solutions are thoughtfully designed to streamline and simplify go-to-market care delivery for companies offering meaningful virtual support to patients across an expansive array of specialties, in all 50 states.

Our Company Culture

We have a relatively flat organizational structure here at OpenLoop. Everyone is encouraged to bring ideas to the table and make things happen. This fits in well with our core values of Autonomy, Competence and Belonging, as we want everyone to feel empowered and supported to do their best work.

About the Role

OpenLoop is looking for an Implementation Project Manager to join our team remotely or at HQ in Des Moines, IA. In this role, you will own the client onboarding and implementation process from contract signature through go-live, ensuring that every new partner has a smooth and successful launch. You’ll partner closely with our Technical Program Manager (TPM) and Launch Control team to coordinate technical integrations, validate workflows, and manage timelines.

This role is a blend of client-facing relationship management and internal project execution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a proactive problem solver, and highly accountable. You can translate complex technical and clinical requirements into actionable workstreams, facilitate communication across diverse stakeholders, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare technology environment.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a portfolio of client implementation projects, from onboarding through go-live, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and client expectations are met.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during implementation, guiding them through setup, technical configuration, and clinical workflows.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Clinical, Engineering, Compliance, Patient Support, and Customer Success to align resources and ensure successful delivery.
  • Perform light technical configuration, system setup, and validation of integrations to ensure readiness for launch.
  • Anticipate potential blockers, resolve issues quickly, and escalate as needed to keep projects on track.
  • Contribute to building scalable implementation playbooks, checklists, and best practices that improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Gather client feedback post-launch and work with internal teams to enhance the onboarding experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; experience in healthcare, health tech, or SaaS strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of implementation or project management experience in digital health, healthcare technology, or SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of technical integrations and implementations with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams.
  • Proven success managing multiple, complex projects with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to synthesize and present information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized, with exceptional follow-through, attention to detail, and accountability.
  • Calm under pressure and effective at navigating ambiguity with a solutions-first mindset.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Monday.com.
  • PMP, CSM, or similar certification is a plus.

Our Benefits

In addition, for salaried positions you would also be eligible for:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision plans
  • Flexible Spending/Health Savings Accounts
  • Flexible PTO
  • 401(k) + Company Match
  • Life Insurance, Pet insurance, and more

Sound like a good fit? We’d love to meet you.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
