Our technology empowers companies to simplify complex logistics processes and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

We're a growing team of passionate problem-solvers who thrive on collaboration, innovation, and delivering meaningful results for our customers.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced, highly organized, and customer-focused Implementation Project Manager to join our team.

In this role, you'll lead end-to-end implementations of ShipHawk's Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS) solutions, ensuring customers are set up for success from kickoff through go-live.

You'll own multiple customer implementations simultaneously, coordinating technical resources, managing timelines, and serving as the primary point of contact throughout the implementation journey.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment, takes ownership of outcomes, and knows how to keep complex projects moving forward. You'll be equally comfortable leading customer conversations, managing project details, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver successful implementations.

What You'll Do

Lead Customer Implementations

  • Own and manage multiple concurrent WMS and TMS implementation projects from kickoff through successful go-live.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Proactively manage dependencies, identify risks, and remove roadblocks to keep projects on track.

  • Ensure implementations are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations.

Own Customer Communication & Relationships

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the implementation process.

  • Lead customer kickoff meetings, status updates, and project discussions with clear agendas, action items, and next steps.

  • Provide proactive, transparent communication regarding project progress, timelines, risks, and deliverables.

  • Set clear expectations and build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders.

  • Identify and escalate potential challenges early while maintaining a solutions-oriented approach.

Drive Project Execution & Accountability

  • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date project documentation, task tracking, and status reports.

  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.

  • Follow up on outstanding action items and drive accountability across project teams.

  • Anticipate potential delays and develop actionable contingency plans to keep implementations moving forward.

  • Balance competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail across multiple projects.

Partner with Technical Teams

  • Collaborate closely with Implementation Engineers, Product, and other internal teams to support successful deployments.

  • Perform or coordinate system configuration, data setup, integrations, testing, and validation activities.

  • Develop a strong understanding of ShipHawk's WMS and TMS solutions and how they support customer operations.

  • Help troubleshoot implementation challenges by bringing together the right technical resources.

  • Ensure customers are prepared for go-live through appropriate testing, validation, and readiness activities.

Continuously Improve

  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes, documentation, and customer experiences.

  • Share best practices and lessons learned across the team.

  • Contribute to scalable implementation methodologies that support ShipHawk's continued growth.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS implementation, technical project management, or customer-facing software delivery.

  • Proven experience managing multiple complex customer implementation projects simultaneously.

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence leading customer-facing meetings.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a track record of meeting deadlines and driving projects to completion.

  • Comfortable working with technical concepts, software configurations, data workflows, and integrations.

  • Self-starter mentality with a high level of accountability, initiative, and ownership.

  • Ability to adapt quickly, solve problems independently, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ERP platforms, or other supply chain technology.

  • Understanding of warehouse operations, order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping, or logistics workflows.

  • Experience working with APIs, EDI, system integrations, or data migration processes.

  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Jira, Monday.com, or similar platforms.

  • Experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.

  • PMP, CSM, or other relevant project management certifications.

What Success Looks Like
  • Successful Go-Lives: Customer implementations are delivered on time, within scope, and with a smooth transition to production.

  • Strong Customer Experience: Customers feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their implementation journey.

  • Proactive Project Ownership: Risks are identified early, action items are consistently followed through, and projects continue moving forward.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Internal teams and customer stakeholders have clear expectations, responsibilities, and timelines.

  • Operational Excellence: Project documentation is accurate, deliverables are tracked, and implementation processes continuously improve.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
