The IAM Portfolio Program Leader is responsible for driving execution, visibility, and control across the Identity & Access Management portfolio. This is a hands-on program leadership role that acts as the execution engine for IAM, ensuring work is structured, prioritized, tracked, and clearly reported to leadership. The role transforms IAM into a cohesive, program-driven portfolio with clear accountability, measurable progress, and audit-ready transparency.
Core AccountabilityOwn execution, make progress visible, and create a system leadership can trust.
Portfolio Execution Engine- Serve as the central execution lead across all IAM initiatives.
- Translate strategy into defined programs, workstreams, and deliverables.
- Ensure all IAM work is sequenced, resourced, and tracked to completion.
- Eliminate unstructured work by enforcing clarity in scope, ownership, and outcomes.
- Establish and manage a centralized IAM backlog and intake process.
- Apply risk-based and regulatory-driven prioritization models.
- Maintain a single source of truth for all IAM demand and delivery.
- Ensure all work items are clearly defined, scoped, and owned.
- Establish weekly execution reviews and monthly portfolio governance forums.
- Drive risk, issue, and dependency management across programs.
- Implement structured reporting artifacts including program plans and status reports.
- Develop executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Build and maintain dashboards for delivery, backlog health, and onboarding progress.
- Translate technical execution into business-relevant insights for leadership.
- Actively drive delivery across IAM teams and remove execution blockers.
- Hold teams accountable to commitments, timelines, and outcomes.
- Ensure programs are designed with auditability and traceability in mind.
- Embed documentation, evidence collection, and control alignment into delivery.
- Partner with Risk and Audit to remediate findings through structured programs.
- Drive onboarding of applications into IAM capabilities such as SailPoint, SSO, and MFA.
- Prioritize onboarding based on risk and regulatory exposure.
- Ensure onboarding follows standardized, repeatable processes.
- Coordinate across IAM, Security, Infrastructure, and Business teams.
- Resolve cross-team conflicts and ensure alignment of priorities.
- Engage directly in program design, backlog shaping, and reporting.
- Provide guidance to product owners, program managers, and engineering leads.
- 10+ years in IAM, Cybersecurity, or IT delivery roles.
- 5+ years leading complex programs or portfolios.
- Experience building program structure and execution discipline in ambiguous environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in regulated financial services environments.
- Familiarity with SailPoint, Okta, or Entra ID.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $96,000.00 - $181,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.Please click here for a list of benefits for which this position is eligible.
