THE OPPORTUNITY

The Human Resources Manager will provide comprehensive support to the Human Resources team by managing a wide range of HR and administrative functions. Key responsibilities include managing the HRIS system, coordinating the entire onboarding, and offboarding process, organizing culture-building events, and day-to-day HR support. The ideal candidate brings hands-on HRIS experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to think critically and exercise sound judgment are essential. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an HR professional to gain exposure and develop expertise across the functional areas of human resources. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

HRIS (Paylocity) (25%):


  • Own day-to-day HRIS administration (data integrity, workflows, user support) and partner with Payroll/Benefits/IT to ensure seamless employee changes.
  • Enter and maintain accurate employee records (hire, job/comp/status changes, org structure) and create/process personnel actions.
  • Serve as primary contact for HRIS questions; publish/maintain key HR content (handbook, calendars, benefits docs).
  • Train new employees/managers on basic HRIS/intranet functionality and generate HR reports as needed. 

Onboarding (15%):


  • Manage the global onboarding cycle end to end (orientation scheduling, materials, readiness with cross functional partners).
  • Collect and audit required documents (I 9s, tax forms, acknowledgments) via ATS/HRIS; track progress and close out tasks.
  • Provide an overview of benefits and enrollment timelines; maintain up to date onboarding resources.

Offboarding (10%):


  • Manage and coordinate the full offboarding cycle for all team members worldwide (exit logistics, final paperwork, compliance steps).
  • Partner with IT/Payroll/Managers to disable access, retrieve assets, and update systems/org charts.
  • Maintain separation documentation in line with policy and legal requirements.

Culture (15%):

  • Plan, organize and manage company events - monthly lunches and giveaways, wellness events, holiday parties, reward & recognition program and ordering and distribution of gifts, etc.
  • Research, select, propose and manage vendors for monthly Wellness Program.
  • Assist SVP, Human Resources with the Company’s annual global offsite meeting.

Training (15%):

  • Coordinate mandatory HR trainings and L&D platforms (assign, track, follow-up; partner with vendors as needed).
  • Support open enrollment communications and logistics.
  • Assist with the annual performance review cycle (calendars, materials, tracking).

Administration (15%):

  • Coordinate mandatory HR trainings and L&D platforms (assign, track, follow up; partner with vendors as needed).

  • Partner with Senior Director, Human Resources to manage leave of absences, and workers’ compensation claims. 

Perform other duties as assigned (5%)

  

SOME OTHER THINGS YOU MAY DO

  • Partner with payroll department on HR related tasks that affect payroll.
  • Creating ad hoc reports and spreadsheets.
  • Process expense reports for SVP, Human Resources.
  • Handles conference room bookings and facilitates meeting logistics, including setup and dismantling.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED


  • A minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience in a human resources role and general office administration experience required.
  • Previous experience using a HRIS system.
  • Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license and be able to drive a vehicle for work-related travel as needed and as applicable to the position.
  • Must be willing to partake in a comprehensive background check including a drug test in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with the highest degree of discretion and respond promptly to critical needs in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and exercise sound judgment when interpreting policies and resolving employee issues.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state labor laws (e.g., Wage & Hour, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, CFRA, PDL, etc.).
  • Comfortable partnering and meeting with senior level executives.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities, environments and new technologies.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.

$80,000 - $90,000
