Experienced Human Resources Manager

Are you a people-focused HR leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment? We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across our growing automotive group, supporting three successful dealership locations representing Toyota, Subaru, and Hyundai.

In this strategic leadership role, you will partner closely with dealership management to attract, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a positive, compliant, and engaging workplace culture. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys building strong teams, driving employee engagement, and contributing to organizational success.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $140,000 – $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus performance-based bonus opportunity. Reports to the Director of Training and Development

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and oversee all human resources functions across three dealership locations

· Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and retention initiatives

· Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

· Support performance management processes, employee coaching, and leadership development programs

· Administer employee benefits, leaves of absence, and HR policies and programs

· Develop and implement employee engagement and culture-building initiatives

· Partner with dealership leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development

· Maintain HR best practices while supporting business objectives and operational excellence

Qualifications

Qualifications

· Minimum of 5 years of progressive human resources experience

· Experience in automotive retail, preferred

· Strong working knowledge of California employment laws and HR compliance requirements

· Demonstrated success managing employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations

· Exceptional communication, interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills

· Professional HR certification required (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)
