Your Role 

Gensler Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager/Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) to partner with and provide local senior leadership with strategic support. This position will also assist in the alignment of key human resources strategies to accomplishing important broader business objectives.In this role you will serve as a key member of the human resources team with areas focus and responsibility on data input, HRIS administration, employee engagement, training and culture.  We are seeking passionate, self-motivated, creative, meticulously detailed, results oriented and customer-centric individuals. This person will be able to seamlessly collaborate across studios, influence stakeholders, and have problem solving approach with client groups. Will have experience and knowledge in managing compensation, annual salary reviews, and promotions processes and systems at a regional level. 

What You Will Do

  • Work with local senior leadership as well as regional leaders to resolve complex situations and address roots causes, solution orientated

  • Partner with regional talent acquisition team to focus on retention or internal talent

  • Be the point of contact for staff regarding payroll, benefit administration, and various HR related programs

  • Oversee and responsible for all HRIS data input for existing staff, as well as incoming new hires

  • Coordinate and facilitate all on-boarding and new hire orientations

  • Employee relations and regulatory compliance

  • Understand all Gensler policies and ensure federal and state compliance

  • Adhere to all EEO/AAP tracking requirements

  • Handle all employee relation's issues with utmost discretion and confidentiality

  • Maintain clear concise documentation

  • Ability to deliver clear advice and direction to management on HR related issues

  • Hands on, roll up your sleeves HR Generalist

  • Other responsibilities or projects assigned

Your Qualifications

  • 5+ years of manager/business partner experience

  • 7+ years of generalist HR experience

  • Must have a experience coaching management/leaders with good judgement skills.

  • Experience working at a professional service firm a plus

  • Bachelor's degree and PHR / SPHR certification preferred

  • Experience in the oversite and management of a small HR team

  • Excellent organizational skills / attention to detail

  • Ability to work within a team setting and go the extra mile to get the job done

  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities

  • Ability to build and grow long-lasting relationships

  • Strong interpersonal communications skills and flexibility

  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR practices

  • Ability to create strategies and delivery methods for solutions under time constraints

**The base salary range will be estimated between $125,000-$150,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
