Key Responsibilities
- Event Leadership: Spearhead the end to end planning, logistics, and execution of internal employee engagement events (e.g., team building activities, wellness workshops, recognition ceremonies, and social gatherings).
- Project Management: Drive the 3-month Employee Engagement Project, maintaining timelines, coordinating with vendors, and managing the allocated budget.
- Full-Cycle HR Exposure: Assist the HR team with daily operations across the employee lifecycle. You will gain hands on experience in areas such as talent acquisition, onboarding processes, HRIS data management, and performance management tracking with the guidance and supervision of HR professionals.
- Cultural Champion: Develop initiatives that align with organizational behavior principles and current leadership theories to strengthen team cohesion and information flow across departments.
- Feedback & Analysis: Design and distribute post-event surveys to measure engagement levels, analyze the data, and provide actionable recommendations for future HR initiatives.
- Inclusive Design: Ensure all events and engagement strategies are accessible, inclusive, and compliant with equal employment opportunity (EEO) standards, creating a welcoming environment for all staff.
- Internal Communications: Draft compelling internal communications to promote upcoming events and encourage high participation rates.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated passion for human resources, specifically in employee engagement, workplace culture, and modern HR theories.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Creative problem solver with a detail oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
