About this opportunity - Associate Human Resources Generalist

***This is is a TEMPORARY POSITION. Anticipated length of assignment is up to 6 months.

Description:

The Associate HR Generalist will support the HR department in various human resources functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance. This role is pivotal in ensuring that HR operations run smoothly and effectively to contribute to achieving organizational goals. The Associate HR Generalist will work closely with the VP of HR and other team members, providing hands-on support and gradually taking on more responsibility as they grow.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in resolving employee concerns, fostering a positive work environment, and maintaining strong employee relations.
  • Support investigations into employee relations matters and support corrective actions when necessary.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, interview scheduling, and conducting reference checks.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and a positive employee experience.
  • Assist recruiter to ensure effective recruiting and selection practices.
  • Assist with benefits administration, responding to employee inquiries, and ensuring compliance during open enrollment.
  • Maintain accurate employee benefits records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Support performance management processes, including tracking and reporting on annual performance reviews.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee development and growth plans.
  • Assist employees and managers on performance management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Prepare reports and audits related to HR compliance.
  • Support the implementation and communication of HR policies across the organization.
  • Assist in implementing training across the organization .
  • Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to assist in decision-making.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement initiatives and company events.
  • Support communication strategies aimed at enhancing employee engagement and organizational culture.
  • Administer employee surveys and analyze feedback to help improve the employee experience.
  • Assist in global initiatives and projects related to the implementation of HR policies and contribute to the organization's growth strategies.

Qualification Requirements:

Bachelors in HR Management/ related field or one to two years of Human Resources experience is preferred.

Proficiency in basic computer programs, such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel


Skills:

Understanding of general corporate procedures and processes preferred

Ability to effectively articulate and communicate with customers, management, vendors, and employees.

Able to handle multiple tasks effectively and consistently meet deadlines.

Maintaining confidentiality of all sensitive matters

Attention to detail, able to work autonomously.
