Human Resources Business Partner 

Job Description 

The Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for providing support to employees, managers, and leadership on all day-to-day HR needs. This role will focus on employee relations, compliance, HR systems, Paylocity support, leave administration, and manager guidance in a fast-paced environment. An HR Business Partner will be practical, organized, confidential, and comfortable helping managers and employees resolve HR matters professionally and consistently. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Support employee relations by assisting with workplace concerns, investigations, corrective actions, performance issues, and confidential employee matters. 

  • Provide HR guidance to managers and employees on company policies, compliance, leave administration, ADA accommodations, FMLA/CFRA coordination, and documentation. 

  • Use Paylocity and other HR systems to maintain employee data, support workflows, prepare reports, and help improve HR processes. 

General Skills & Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of HR experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, Employee Relations, or similar HR role. 

  • Experience handling employee relations, investigations, performance concerns,a nd confidential HR matters. 

  • Working knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, leave administration, ADA accommodations, FMLA/CFRA, and workplace policies. 

  • Experience using Paylocity or a similar HRIS platform. 

  • Strong communication, organization, judgement, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and showcase the ability to take initiative, value collaboration, and become highly adaptable. 

  • Be able to quickly learn new applications, software, and dashboards as adopted and used within the company.  

  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance as needed.

  • The salary range for this position, depending on experience, is $75,000 - $80,000 annually.
