We are seeking a Strategic Human Resources Business Partner for our Garden Grove, CA Plant.

Summary:

Administers all HR operations and is directly responsible for site(s) within the respective perimeter as well as acts as both a change agent and thought leader for the respective perimeter.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with Federal, State, Local Authorities and company policy
  • Executes payroll

Additional Duties:

  • Provides human resources (HR) consultation to a designated business unit.
  • Uses working knowledge of the business to provide HR support and guidance.
  • Partners directly with business leaders to define and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives and key initiatives.
  • Analyzes trends and develops strategies to resolve HR issues and make a positive impact on business results.
  • Leads organizational assessments that convert strategies into result-driven actions. Provides change-management support as needed.
  • Acts as a liaison with other HR functions.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Human Resources is required.
  • At least 5-7 years of human resource experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish - Must be Bi-lingual.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) required.
  • Knowledge and working with ADP Workforce Now
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of US, and CA specific employment laws as warranted.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
