The Human Resources Benefits Manager is responsible for the strategy, administration, compliance, and continuous improvement of Internet Brands’ employee benefits programs. This role partners closely with HR, Payroll, Legal, Finance, and external vendors to ensure benefits offerings are competitive, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with the company’s growth and acquisition strategy.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, experienced with multi-state benefits administration, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, acquisition-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits Strategy & Administration
Own the end-to-end administration of employee benefits programs, including:
- Medical, dental, vision
- Life and disability insurance
- FSA, HSA, and commuter benefits
- Retirement plans (401(k))
- Leave and wellness programs
- Evaluate and recommend benefits enhancements based on employee needs, market trends, and cost analysis.
- Manage annual open enrollment, including vendor coordination, system configuration, employee communications, and issue resolution.

- Oversee vendor compliance and data accuracy across HRIS, benefits platforms, and payroll systems.

Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in HR benefits administration, preferably in a multi-state or national organization.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. benefits compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing benefits vendors, brokers, and open enrollment processes.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, Legal, and Finance.
