Lead Oracle HCM Cloud system configuration, optimization, and roadmap development. Drive automation and AI-enabled improvements, manage releases and integrations, ensure data integrity and compliance, partner with People Operations, and deliver training and process improvements across the employee lifecycle.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR Technology professional to serve as a strategic partner and subject matter expert for Oracle HCM Cloud. This role is responsible for optimizing HR technology solutions, driving automation and AI-enabled innovation, supporting enterprise integrations, ensuring data integrity and compliance, and advancing the HR technology roadmap. The ideal candidate combines deep functional expertise, technical aptitude, and strong business acumen to deliver scalable solutions across the employee lifecycle.
Key Duties:
- System Management: Configure, troubleshoot, and enhance Oracle HCM Cloud modules.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive the enhancement of system capabilities and identify automation opportunities to reduce manual processes.
- Collaboration: Partner with the People Operations team and the larger People organization to implement solutions.
- Process Review: Perform regular business process reviews, make ongoing suggestions, and create action plans.
- Roadmap Development: Assist in establishing a long-term HR Technology roadmap.
- Compliance: Ensure proper checks and balances, segregation of duties, and adherence to audit and security protocols.
- Innovation: Identify process and compliance improvement opportunities.
- Program Management: Manage the delivery of people processes and programs, set objectives and timelines, track progress, and assess blockers.
- Training: Lead the development and training of HR systems policies and procedures.
- Best Practices: Partner with People Operations to deliver clear, best-in-class processes and procedures ensuring data integrity and automation of employee life cycle events and transactions.
- Trend Awareness: Maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery, support, and application of key technologies. Evaluate, implement, and optimize AI, workflow automation, and self-service capabilities to improve employee and manager experiences while increasing operational efficiency.
- Release Management & Testing: Lead assessment, testing, change management, and deployment activities related to Oracle quarterly releases, new features, and system enhancements.
- Stakeholder & Product Mindset: Serve as the product owner and subject matter expert for assigned Oracle HCM modules, balancing business priorities, user experience, compliance requirements, and technical capabilities.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive HRIS, HR Technology, or Oracle HCM Cloud experience supporting complex business processes, system configuration, and enterprise-scale initiatives.
- Skills: Proficiency with HR Technology applications (preferably Oracle HCM Cloud), expert project, program, process management, and organizational skills, strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, experience gathering and translating business requirements into scalable technology solutions, and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
- Attributes: Highly effective self-starter, proven ability to translate complicated problems into simple solutions, strong business acumen with an understanding of HR business processes and operations, proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, build strong relationships, and become a trusted partner to relevant stakeholders, agile problem solver with expert attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Project Management, Management Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience: Robust experience supporting a multi-country employee base, managing complex, global HR projects, and operationalizing HR policies and strategy.
- Skills: Ability to understand and gauge impact for complex dependencies across multiple apps and workflows across an organization, experience with implementing systems, developing end-to-end business processes, documenting requirements, and creating quick start guides for end users.
