THE ROLE
Golden Hippo is currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Sourcer & Researcher - Technology (Contract to Perm) who will join our amazing Talent Acquisition team! In this role, you will build and execute strategies to identify and engage diverse talent for our engineering teams but you may be asked to support other parts of the business. The ideal individual will be able to develop robust candidate pipelines and engaged talent communities that align with our most critical talent needs.
As the Sourcer & Researcher, you will maintain a deep understanding of Golden Hippo's culture, values, products and unique search requirements, helping us identify quality talent and build high-achieving and diverse teams.
WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
- Partner with Recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand the requirements, function and mission of some of our most critical and difficult-to-fill positions
- Strategize and develop new ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, talent mapping, events and sourcing campaigns
- Perform competitive industry analysis, sharing findings related to target companies, conferences, market changes and open source communities with recruiters and talent partners
- Conduct thoughtful candidate interviews with a spirit of curiosity, uncover ability to perform in the targeted role, alignment with core competencies, and a true interest in the work and passion for our mission
- Ensure that everyone who interacts with our team has a positive experience and gets an authentic feel for life and culture at Golden Hippo
- Find, engage and activate passive candidates through the creative use of Boolean, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques
- Partner with our TA Coordinator and Recruiters to develop streamlined processes and workflows
- Own pipeline activity metrics and reporting to be shared with internal team members
- Recommend and drive improvements that positively impact talent pipelines
- Other responsibilities as directed by the Head of Talent Acquisition
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
- 3+ years of technical sourcing experience with in-house recruiting team, search firm, or agency, preferably within a high-growth company environment
- Experience working with and building sourcing strategies with Recruiters and hiring managers
- Experience leveraging Applicant Tracking Systems to build candidate pools and pipelines; UKG experience a plus
- Creative sourcing approach and experience using networking platforms, online resume databases, and social media to engage passive talent
- Comfort with ambiguity - proactive and assertive nature required and can self-manage daily activities
- Dedication to upholding process with a team player attitude - scheduling and rescheduling are part of the job as well as ad hoc projects and initiatives
- Consistent follow up and follow through to make sure that no candidate is left behind
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
