HR Specialist

·       Provides Human Resources department administrative support with regards to HR information systems and databases, recruiting and staffing activities, benefits administration, employee relations, training and development, and other human resources functions.

·       Maintain employee records and other HR recordkeeping requirements.

·       Respond to employee inquiries or requests and provide assistance.

·       Assists across multiple areas of staffing/recruiting including talent evaluation and screening for entry level hourly shop floor positions.

·       Assists with the coordination of the new hire on-boarding process from offer acceptance through pre-hire paperwork, physicals, and onboarding.

·       Participates in new hire orientations.

·       Requires college degree (Bachelor degree preferred) in Human Resources or related business field or comparable work-related experience.

·       Prior experience working in the Human Resources field is required, preferably in a manufacturing environment, including prior experience with legal issues related to FMLA, FLSA, Wage Hour Act & HIPPA, etc.

·       Prior experience with recruiting and staffing is required with a strong preference for experience in recruiting for manufacturing entry level hourly shop floor positions.
