Responsible for sourcing and maintaining multiple suppliers to ensure continuous supply of production, maintenance, MRO, tooling, and services. Executes bidding, negotiation, contracts and supplier audits, reconciles PO/invoice variances, supports cost reduction and continuous improvement, and maintains vendor and quality records. Temporary eight-month contract.

Implement and maintain Health, Safety and Environmental management systems (OH&S, ISO14001, EMS); conduct audits, incident investigations, risk assessments, training, regulatory reporting (RPRA, NPRI, GHG, ECA), and liaise with government and corporate HSE teams to drive continuous improvement.

Support materials management for production: track inventory, coordinate receipts and shipments, ensure parts availability, maintain records, and liaise with suppliers and production teams.

Co-op student will assist the Information Systems team with help-desk support, hardware/software installation, network (LAN/WAN/TCP-IP) administration, inventory and lifecycle management, software package creation, and user training. Work includes supporting wireless phone systems (Spectralink), scanners, terminals and other peripherals while following standards and writing technical documentation.

Provide administrative support for the department including filing, scheduling, meeting minutes, document control, record keeping, travel and vehicle coordination. Use Microsoft Office, Power BI and IMDS, maintain confidentiality, manage office supplies and assist with HR-related records and onboarding tasks.

Student intern assists systems and hardware teams developing and testing thermal sensing cameras. Duties include bench and vehicle systems testing, infrared image analysis, scripting for visualization, building metrics/models, designing investigations, documenting results, collaborating across teams, and presenting a capstone demo.

Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based automation (primarily Rockwell) to optimize uptime, quality, and throughput. Integrate FANUC robots, welding/laser systems, vision-assisted handling, HMIs (Ignition/Rockwell), industrial networks, VFD/motion control, and data historian archiving. Perform mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic support, preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, continuous improvement, and coordinate apprentices/contractors.
