We’re looking for an organized, proactive, and people-focused HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team in Santa Ana, CA. This position provides comprehensive support across the full employee life cycle.  The responsibilities include coordinating leaves of absence and workers' compensation processes, administering reward and recognition initiatives, and delivering timely, empathetic employee support. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth HR operations, positive employee experiences, and consistent program delivery.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30/5:00 pm. This is fully onsite position.

Your Essential Duties:

  • Performance Management
    • Support our internal performance review process by assisting in the review and editing of performance reviews.
    • Administer performance review system, guide managers through review cycles and utilization of the system.
    • Create and implement as needed.
  • HR Programs & Initiatives
    • Administer key HR programs including Safety and Driving programs.
    • Engagement Programs such as Wellness Events and Awardco recognition.
    • Mandatory reporting such as Ca Pay Data and EEO-1.
  • Training Coordination
    • Schedule, conduct, and track mandatory compliance training.
    • Create and perform training on new policies, procedures, handbook updates or new legislation as needed.
  • Leaves of Absence & Workers’ Compensation
    • Assist in the management of leave requests (FMLA, ADA, personal, etc.), ensuring compliance and timely communication
    • Serve as liaison with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve workers’ comp claims and accommodations
  • Reward & Recognition Programs
    • Administer and evolve employee recognition initiatives and service awards
    • Support HR leadership in tracking and reporting on program effectiveness
  • Employee Experience & Inquiry Support
    • Respond to HR-related questions from employees in a timely, empathetic, and accurate manner
    • Maintain and improve knowledge base documentation and internal resources
    • Conduct investigations as required into workplace issues.
    • Perform employee relations functions to address workplace concerns.
  • Ensure documentation and systems are up to date and aligned with company policies.
  • Continually maintain awareness of HR trends, and federal and state laws.
  • May assist HR team with additional duties and projects as assigned, specifically including payroll and benefits.

Requirements

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR operations or employee support roles.
  • Performance Management, Payroll and Benefits experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, reporting tools, and case management platforms.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required; must be able to communicate fluently in both languages, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must demonstrate consistent and strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
