POSITION SUMMARY
The HR intern will offer hands-on experience in various areas of HR, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, onboarding, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations. The HR Intern will work closely with professionals passionate about supporting people and building a strong workplace culture.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with HR team members and business stakeholders to complete assigned projects/tasks in each department.
• Support ongoing job description project, which includes updating all company job descriptions, auditing current job descriptions, and documenting the processes.
• Support emerging career initiatives, including coordinating interviews and contacting applicants.
• Research industry trends and summarize findings.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to the HR team.
• Review and complete the timesheet correction forms.
• Tracking harassment training for new hires.
• Create forms highlighting CFP’s company culture.
• Other projects and assignments as requested.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• High-school Diploma required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Demonstrated strength with interpersonal dynamics and an interest in supporting a team.
• Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to work in cross-functional teams.
• Capable of managing initiatives and projects, adapting priorities and responsibilities to meet evolving business needs.
