The HR Generalist manages recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR operations while supporting HR programs and initiatives.
GHJ Search and Staffing serves as the recruitment division of GHJ, a prominent national accounting and advisory firm. Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.
We are working with a well-established, growing food manufacturing company based in Rancho Cucamonga. This role is highly visible and partners closely with leadership, supporting a large hourly workforce across areas like employee relations, compliance, performance management, and day-to-day HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
- Support employee relations, performance management, and investigations
- Administer HR programs including compensation, benefits, and training
- Maintain HRIS records and ensure compliance with employment laws
- Assist in developing HR policies, procedures, and organizational initiatives
- Support employee development and engagement programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent HR experience
- 4–8 years of HR experience
- SHERM certified is a plus
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
