The HR Generalist will manage HR operations including employee onboarding, recruitment support, compliance, and improve employee experience in a luxury fashion company.
Purpose and Objective
AMIRI is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations across corporate and retail. This role will play a critical part in supporting employee experience, compliance, talent operations, and organizational growth within a luxury fashion environment.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and workplace matters.
- Coordinate onboarding and ensure a seamless new hire experience.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
- Partner with hiring managers to support recruitment efforts for corporate and/or retail roles.
- Support payroll coordination and benefits/leave of absence administration.
- Support performance review cycles and talent development initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance employee experience.
- Support employee relations initiatives and assist with conflict resolution and investigations as needed.
- Assist in updating HR policies and employee handbooks.
- Ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5+ years of HR experience, preferably within fashion, retail, or luxury industries.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience supporting retail populations is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- High level of discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
