Job Summary

The primary responsibilities of this job include: Performing statistical modeling and analysis of data sets to develop reports, visualizations, and metrics of trends and patterns. Works with end-users across the business to understand data and analysis needs and develops technical requirements. Partners with development and data management roles to identify and capture data required from internal and external sources. Creates and maintains statistical models for ongoing and ad hoc review and analysis of data. Uses data visualization programs, tools and techniques to generate dashboards, reports and presentations that aid in data storytelling, understanding and interpretation of trends and patterns of business importance.

Job Duties

  • Compile and synthesize HR data and metrics from finance, business systems, the human resource information system (HRIS - specifically Workday), and payroll outputs to build custom reporting and advanced analysis.
  • Create standardized tools and manage HR metric reporting.
  • Develop client-specific dashboards or scorecards displaying key, relevant HR data, leveraging Tableau to design dynamic, interactive visualizations (e.g., Headcount, Turnover, Inclusion, Time-to-Fill).
  • Develop analytical models, conduct deep-dive data analysis, and generate actionable insights to inform organizational initiatives and talent decisions (e.g., strategic planning, workforce planning, compensation planning, and external reporting).
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for HR data by probing to understand the root business need, analyzing relevant data by building and running custom reports out of Workday (leveraging a strong understanding of its reporting capabilities and data structures), and providing recommendations to improve decisions.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives with data analysis, insight generation, and recommendations that improve decisions and global data consistency.
  • Support the development of presentation materials with relevant data, visuals, and compelling data storytelling tailored for audiences up to the executive level.
  • Prepare reports of data results and present People Analytics findings to HR leadership to help drive a more proactive, data-informed workforce strategy.
  • Compiling, structuring, and analyzing HR data to draw conclusions that help streamline processes, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and establish strong global data integrity and governance.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of progressive work experience applying analytical methods to business problems, driving improved decision-making, and elevating a data-driven culture.
  • Tableau (Required): Proven experience building dynamic data visualizations, interactive dashboards, and compelling data stories using Tableau. (Experience with Cognos Analytics or Power BI in addition is a plus).
  • Workday Experience: (Required): While you do not need to be a system architect, you must have the ability to confidently navigate the system, build/modify custom reports, and possess a solid understanding of Workday's data objects and reporting capabilities.
  • Advanced Excel (Required): Expert proficiency in Excel (Power Query, advanced pivot tables, complex formulas, and large-scale data manipulation).
  • Exceptional customer focus and project management skills, with the ability to help business stakeholders understand how to interpret and use data effectively.
  • Previous exposure to HR project-related activities and a strong background in supporting HR functional processes (HR Systems, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, HRBP, Benefits, etc.), coupled with a deep understanding of standard People Analytics metrics.

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefit options include medical, dental, vision, 401k, flexible spending and health savings accounts, accident benefits, life insurance, disability benefits, paid vacation & holidays. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$82,542 - $137,570

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of  Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
